Mal De Ojo Necklace

In spanish, Mal de Ojo is a folk illness primarily affecting children, with infants being particularly vulnerable. This supernaturual belief holds that an admiring look or a stare can weaken the child, leading to bad luck, sickness and even death. Crazy!

Not to worry! Cause in many cultures, to protect yourself against receiving el Mal de Ojo (wether intentionally or unintentionally), one can wear an "amulet" such as this pendant. Made with a lovely 20 inch stainless steel chain, and a simple brass and cubic zirconia eye pendant, this necklace is a perfect layering piece. All hardware is 100% brass.

The Mal de Ojo necklace! I love the dainty chain- so sparkly. Comes with an eye- catching pendant with a really cool meaning. I wear it everyday on its own or layer it with other Hen & Bear pieces.
