Ix Chel Necklace

Ix Chel (pronounced ee-shell) is one of the most prominent, complex, and revered goddesses in ancient Maya culture, widely recognized as a deity of the moon, fertility, childbirth, medicine, and weaving. We named this necklace after her as she embodies the different phases of the moon, shifting between a young maiden, a mother, and a grandmother. 

Hand-beaded with faceted phoenix lime quartz teardrops, faceted orange cat's eye, olive green box beads (all sourced in NYC), and brass and stainless steel spacers, this pop of colour will brighten up any 'fit. Total length is 18.5in. Chain and hardware are 100% brass.
